Discover authentic fishing traditions on a guided experience in the Amvrakikos Gulf, one of the most important wetland ecosystems in Greece.

The activity takes place in the lagoons near Pogonitsa, where local fishermen have used a traditional system known as a “divari” for over a century. This natural fish trap operates using the movement of fish between the Ionian Sea and the lagoons, creating a sustainable and unique fishing environment.

Accompanied by experienced local fishermen, participants learn traditional fishing techniques passed down through generations. Using simple tools such as rods and nets, you will have the opportunity to catch fish species that thrive in the rich waters of the gulf.

At the end of the experience, your catch is grilled on-site and served as a traditional meal, accompanied by local wine and Greek salad, offering a complete and authentic taste of the region.
