Come and explore together the mythical river Acheron, the river of the dead for the ancient Greeks where souls were transported to the realm of Hades the underworld.
Information
We learn how to kayak and explore the river delta rich in flora and fauna. Before we begin our excursion on the river we make a lesson on basic kayaking, then we put on life jackets and take waterproof backpacks and we start. The guide who accompanies us on the river is always by our side and guides us along the way. The calmness, the water, the greenery and the voices of the birds create a wonderful setting for nature lovers and those looking for an oasis of peace away from the noisy tourist centers.
Our excursion is about four kilometers and usually takes an hour and a half. The river is calm and suitable for beginners and of course small children. You could makee the excursion by SUP (stand up paddle board) seeing the river from a different perspective. The whole experience is experiential and will be unforgettable.
